GFSF Welcomes Brazilian Partner
BBOSS joins GFSF as a Strategic Partner with plans to usher
in new Brazilian corporate members.
GFSF is pleased to
welcome BBOSS, an industry promotion organization based in the northeastern
region of Brazil, as a new Strategic Partner.
BBOSS works closely with CONAJE, an
organization of 36,000 young business entrepreneurs located in 23 Brazilian
States, and will have lead
responsibility for introducing GFSF into the region and leading a delegation of
new Brazilian corporate members to the annual GFSF summit, June 14-15.
Eduardo Platon, President and
Founder of BBOSS, commented that "GFSF is a unique industry food safety
organization with deep roots in China and other Asian markets. Brazilian companies are increasingly key
players in ag trade with China. They are
gaining market share with a reputation for food safety and quality. GFSF offers
an ideal platform for companies from our region to build collaborative
opportunities with the private and public sector.”
GFSF, established in 2010 as a
non-profit industry organization to advance food safety in Asian markets, has
over 50 corporate members. In the
current marketing year, it will be hosting its annual international food safety
technology Summit in Beijing, June 14-15. The Summit will include two workshops
for new product launches for an e-course curriculum and food safety liability
for recall and contamination.
“Brazilian
agribusiness membership in GFSF,” said Rick Gilmore, Chairman of GFSF, “adds
muscle to our mission of building a reliable global supply chain for Asian
markets. They excel in offering quality
product and adhering to international standards for food safety compliance. The delegation in June has an important story
to tell for us all.”
