GIC AND SIMPLUM SIGN FINANCIAL ADVISORY MANDATE

GIC Trade, Inc. (dba GIC Group) and Simplum, LTD (Simplum spółka z ograniczOną odpowiedzialnością) are pleased to announce the establishment of a corporate joint venture offering integrated food safety tracing systems worldwide.

Simplum has developed a breakthrough tracing technology for livestock information and data exchange secured by patent. Its integrated hardware and software system offers three modules for data collection: breeding, fattening, and slaughter and veterinary monitoring.   The unique features of the system (SLIDE) are comprehensive data collection and dissemination capabilities, efficient storage and recall capabilities transmitted through RFID (radio frequency identification), and responsiveness to regulatory requirements within the European Union market.  The SLIDE system simplifies nursery and grow-finishing swine production through automation and integrated data collection and analysis.

The new joint venture will be expanding  Simplum-GIC operations into targeted growth markets, chiefly in China and the US.  It also is launching a capital- raising campaign to expand operations in these new markets.

Tomasz Szymanski, CEO of Simplum said that “Our partnership with GIC will broaden and strengthen our growing international platform.”  “The fact that all major food safety regulatory regimes are now calling for tracing documentation,”  according to Rick Gilmore, CEO/President of GIC, “offers tremendous growth opportunities for the SLIDE system.”
